Hi Carl, I wish to convey my thanks for organising such a wonderful evening and to see and hear such wonderful young talent.  My husband and our friends had a lovely evening and it was great to be able to hear the voices without people talking around you as happens in the park.    It was also interesting to see what other people had bought for their dinner.  There seemed to be such a variety.  The Albert Hall is certainly built for such an occasion and to think that some people wanted to change the building. Also my girlfriend and I admired the beautiful frocks the girls wore throughout the performance. Thanks Carl for all the work you do for these events.  It is lovely that our talented young people have these opportunities to perform, and to perform so well and professionally as well.  (My mother who was a professional classical singer  trained at the Royal College of Music before WWII would be delighted!)  You do such a wonderful job of getting them such an enthusiastic audience.  And it's all lots of fun. Carl, I am writing to say how much Kathy and I enjoyed the Merry Widow performance last night. The opera was very easy to follow and the performers of excellent standard. The whole performance was inspiringly light, witty and expressed the great theme of love. Moving the opera inside to the great Albert Hall was a masterpiece. It is such a good venue (despite its small stage). Please include us on your future mailing lists. We will gladly return to your future events and bring family and friends for a good night out. Dear Carl, We were very pleased to make your acquaintance on Sat. evening. All of us enjoyed the performance immensely. The Albert Hall was the ideal setting (and we were able to park absolutely adjacent to it, which leaves Sydney for dead). The service  at intermission was spot on as was the plunger coffee. We weren't expecting the SSO but I was amazed at the range and versatility of the supporting ensemble. Similarly, we weren't expecting the Australian ballet, nor indeed dance routines, but the choreography was really very good as were the innovations with the script and libretto. A really wonderful Concert, the best one I have been to for a long time.  You have certainly searched out some fine talent and such a good varied programme. Loved Michael Johnson with his effortless singing and his diction was so good - he rode across the high notes and not giving the impression of having to get up to it so to speak. Hello Carl, I wanted to let you know how much my table enjoyed "The Merry Widow" on Thursday night. It was a terrific evening - the Albert Hall is indeed a magical setting for such a performance - which was superb. The singing was terrific,(Kate and Michael - congratulations!) the costumes were so colourful and everyone was obviously enjoying themselves immensely.
